This is a fiberglass cloth tape, made with E-Glass and is great for repairs or reinforcing corners, seams, and edges, or smaller applications including winding. It is a mesh joint plain weave tape. E-Glass is alumino-borosilicate glass and it’s alkali free.
The reason it’s commonly known as a tape is that it is a narrow woven fiberglass cloth, but it does not contain an adhesive backing.
High-resistance properties, ideal for wrapping tubular structures, electrical cables, or machinery. Great for electronics, waterproofing, insulation, heat resistance, fire resistance, anti-rust.
The plain weave construction provides uniform strength in both horizontal and vertical directions. Selvage edge to prevent unraveling.
This fiberglass fabric tape can be used with epoxy, polyester, and vinyl ester resin with easy saturation.
